While waiting to go on air for the six o’clock show, we were having a lively chat about pet peeves. It turns out that I have many when it comes to food. One has to be that salad that gets thrown together with a soggy bag of leaves, and a few veg the fall to the bottom of the bowl. I’ve made it. I’ve served it! But now I’ve made something better to serve you better! Salads so good that they are anything but the side show of something green for the table. This weeks newsletter is bursting with thoughts, tips and ticks on creating a superior salad. So come on, let’s dig into this weeks recipes;
Butterhead Salad with Roasted Garlic Ranch and Crispy Breadcrumbs
Pea, Feta, Roasted Red Onion and Mint Salad
Charred Tender-stem, Green Olive and Mummarah
PS - I am still thinking about doing a monthly magazine style newsletter with recipes, kitchen discoveries, restaurant reviews, seasonal and local products and maybe even some candid chats with other foodie folk but would love to know what you think!
